Audi e-tron Sportback Concept

Audi has shifted its focus to economic, environmentally conscious futuristic drivers with the e-tron Sportback concept vehicle. This tech-focused electric model has the guise of a coupe and a head-turning appearance. This sporty SUV is expected to be a must-have over the next decade.

The battery in the e-tron Sportback contains an energy level of 95 kilowatt-hours. Suitable for everyday use, this vehicle has a full-electric range of 310 miles, making it a competitive choice in the market. The electric motor is placed on the front axle and two on the rear, powering all four wheels, thus transforming it into a Quattro all-wheel drive vehicle.

Easily identifiable as an electric car, the e-tron Sportback features a face with narrow LED light strips, giving the driver excellent visibility of surroundings. Small cameras replace exterior mirrors, increasing safety and visibility. The camera images appear on displays in the doors, making a blind spot in the e-tron Sportback nearly obsolete.

The first showing of the Audi e-tron takes place in Shanghai, because of the rapidly growing market for electronic vehicles in China. The production version is expected to debut in 2019.
